AARP Oregon is celebrating women the month of March and you’re invited! Join us beginning March 8 for kick-off of the AARP Oregon Women’s Summit, a month-long series of events including workshops, conversations, a concert and a movie. We’ll come together to share wisdom, find inspiration and connect with other women. This virtual summit is open to all women, and those who love and support them. You do not need to be an AARP member, but registration is required. Please register separately for each event you would like to attend to ensure you have a virtual seat.

The national 2022 Women's History theme, “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” is both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.

Sometimes, we forget to promote our own healing and wellness. So take some time and drop by a free virtual yoga or mindful movement class during the month. Center your week on Monday mornings with Mindful Movement with yogi Diane Butera. Register for the series and join us! Yogi Barbara Deurwaarder will also help you to get healthy and get moving every week on Wednesday and Saturday at 10 a.m. Register once for the month and get timely reminders.

Check back on this page, as we continue to update the speakers and learn more about the events planned. All events are free and open to all women and those who love and support them. You do not have to be an AARP member to attend, but registration is required.
