AARP Pennsylvania hosted a tele-town hall with Pennsylvania Acting Secretary of State Leigh M. Chapman and Deputy Secretary for Elections and Commissions Marks on May 10, the last day to request a mail-in ballot.

AARP Pennsylvania launched a new statewide voter education campaign focused on helping communities and older adults cut through the noise and avoid confusion when exercising their right to vote. Pennsylvania voters have been on an information rollercoaster ride since 2020, and we are providing Pennsylvanians 50-plus with trusted information about how, when, and where to vote in the 2022 elections.

AARP Pennsylvania State Director Bill Johnston-Walsh joined Senator Bob Casey virtually to highlight the need for Congress to lower prescription drug prices and deliver a petition signed by nearly 218,000 Pennsylvanians calling for Congress to act now and stop unfair drug prices.
