Oct. 29 Recycling Event Helps Augusta Area Consumers Avoid Risk of Identity Theft

As part of its ongoing Fraud Watch Network efforts to help consumers avoid falling victim to identity theft, AARP Georgia is joining with Savannah Riverkeeper and local city agencies to host the Rivers Alive Recycling Event on October 29 in Augusta to provide free shredding of personal financial documents and other sensitive records.

Event Details:

Saturday, October 29, 2016
9am-noon

New Savannah Bluff Lock & Dam

1853 Lock and Dam Road

Augusta, GA 30906

At the Rivers Alive Recycling Event, an optional drive-through line will be set up to receive recyclable items. Based on the size of the truck for document shredding we ask people to limit the number of documents to two trash bags.
