Joyce LaValle is new RVP for Missouri and other Large Region states

Since the design implementation of the Community, State and National Affairs (CSN), AARP Missouri is part of the Large Region group of states in the new structure. Missouri is joined by Arizona, Washington, Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and New Jersey.

Joyce LaValle has been selected to serve as the Regional Volunteer Director (RVD) of the Large Region. She has served on the AARP Washington Executive Council, and was a member of the Capitol Action Team in Olympia. She is a leader in talent development and sustainability.

LaValle retired in 2009, following a career in the commercial interiors industry as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Senior Vice President of Customer & Associate Engagement for Interface, Inc. She is a past Board member of FIDER (Federation for Interior Design Education and Research) and IFMA (International Facility Management Association), a current member of the Board of Directors for Pinchot University, and a founding member of the Women’s Network for a Sustainable Future (WSNF).

As RVD, LaValle will work collaboratively with the Regional Vice President June Lyle, sharing insights and advice about activities and volunteer personnel in the region and serve as a mentor to Volunteer State Presidents.

Congratulations and welcome to Joyce LaValle.
