Subject Line: Aug 2 Volunteer Call on Fraud and Volunteers on Boards

Please join the August 2 Volunteer Teletown Hall for a dive into AARP’s fraud work as well as our efforts around engaging volunteers on boards and commissions.  This is an opportunity to learn more about the great work going on across the country to help 50+ consumers avoid frauds and scams and share resources for volunteers.  In addition, we will highlight how volunteers who currently serve on external boards can access AARP assistance.  Finally, we’ll share a timely federal advocacy update and provide an opportunity to share questions and comments.

Here’s how to join the call:

If you have a question or comments about topics being addressed on the call, feel free to submit them in advance.  Just email volunteer@aarp.org by 6pm ET on August 1 and be sure to include “TTH question” in your subject line.  We will also be taking questions by phone during the call.
