Meet fellow AARP members and friends at a free screening of Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, at the historic Quaker Cinema in downtown New Philadelphia.
Jersey Boys follows four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who overcame trials and tribulations to become one of the most iconic groups in pop music. The movie features their award-winning tunes Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man, Dawn and more.
Stop by our table in the lobby to meet AARP volunteers and staff, find out what we’re up to in your community, and pick up a discount coupon that allows you to purchase a small popcorn and small fountain drink for $4.50. Quaker Cinema, which is the first theater built exclusively to show movies in Tuscarawas County and has been showing first-run films for more than 70 years, will give a brief presentation about its history before the movie starts.
The AARP screening of Jersey Boys begins at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Quaker Cinema in New Philadelphia.
While attendance is free, advance registration is required. To RSVP for this screening, register online or call toll-free 1-877-926-8300.
