With only a couple of weeks left in the SD legislative session, the action in the legislature will be fast and furious for the next few weeks!
AARP Community Challenge Grant applications are currently being accepted through Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 7:00 p.m. CT.
With Week 5 in the books, we have officially reached the half way point of SD's 2021 legislative session and AARP is proud to be working on several bills to help protect the rights of voters, nursing home residents and those with pre-existing conditions in our state.
As we enter February, the pace in Pierre is picking up! The deadline for introducing bills was Thursday and upon final tally, the legislature will consider nearly 500 bills, resolutions and commemorations over the next several weeks.
