In the Kitchen: Webinar Has the Latest Culinary Tips

Happy chef handing dinner dish to waitress in the kitche at order station

AARP Utah’s virtual cooking classes are back, and on the menu is pan-seared fish and garlic butter sauce over creamy risotto.

It’s the latest in AARP Utah University’s free webinar series. It will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6. A chef from Salt Lake Culinary Education will demonstrate the seared-fish recipe, which is ideal for summer meals. Participants will receive an ingredient list in advance, so they can cook along with the chef. “Our live cooking demonstrations have become a favorite class,” says Alan Ormsby, AARP Utah state director. Another cooking class is expected to be held in the fall.

You can register for the session at aarp.org/UtahU2023. Or watch it later, at aarp.org/ut.
