Each Tuesday at 8:30 am, escape to a 45-minute fitness paradise that combines the best of both worlds: strengthening and stretching. Led by fitness instructor, William Roberts, this class offers a unique approach to fitness: fusing classic techniques designed to firm up both your upper and lower body, blending of weights (or no weights) and body resistance. This dynamic class promises to rejuvenate you physically and mentally. No special equipment or training is required.

Organization Continues to Educate About its Livable Communities Work
El miércoles, 16 de noviembre de 2022, el director estatal de English | AARP, Troy de Chabert-Schuster, inaugurará el parque de acondicionamiento físico al aire libre patrocinado por AARP en las Islas Vírgenes. La Gran Inauguración fue a las 11:00 am en Altona Lagoon en Christiansted, St. Croix. Con 15 parques abiertos en 2019 y más en todo el país entre 2020 y 2022, AARP patrocino un parque de acondicionamiento físico en cada estado, el Distrito de Columbia, Puerto Rico y las Islas Vírgenes de EE. Español | On November 16, 2022, AARP State Director Troy de Chabert-Schuster opened the AARP Sponsored Outdoor Fitness Park in The Virgin Islands. The Grand Opening was held at 11:00 am at the Altona Lagoon in Christiansted, St. Croix, VI. Due to COVID-19, a soft opening was announced in 2021. With 15 parks opened in 2019 and more nationwide between 2020 and 2022, AARP sponsored a fitness park in every state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Español | Beverly Biziewski has been selected by AARP, the nonprofit organization that works to enhance the quality of life for all as they age, to receive the 2022 AARP in The Virgin Islands Andrus Award for Community Service, the Association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
AARP in the Virgin Islands wants its members to prepare for the November general election. Our members comprise a robust demographic of our territory’s voters; together, we can be the “deciders” in the 2022 elections. We need every candidate and lawmaker to commit to addressing the challenges facing people 50+. That’s why we are partnering with the Virgin Islands Disability Rights Center to present Voter Machine Demonstration and Registration Drives in St. Croix and St. Thomas to help educate and help Virgin Islanders commit to being a voice in the election.
