AARP Eye Center
A popular local fair is set to return in February, and AARP will be there to provide information on what the office is doing to help Virgin Islanders over 50.
The Agriculture and Food Fair, to be held Feb. 18-20 (Saturday-Monday) at the St. Croix Agricultural Fairgrounds, features livestock demonstrations, entertainment and rides. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for those 60 and older and $4 for kids.
AARP Virgin Islands will staff the event, engaging the community, recruiting volunteers and informing fairgoers of its efforts to make the Virgin Islands a more livable community.
AARP is also scheduled to be at the Bordeaux Fair in St. Thomas, Jan. 14-15 at the Bordeaux Farmers Market. The fair focuses on locally grown produce and has activities, arts and crafts.
