No one should face Alzheimer’s alone.

A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease is life-changing. Take steps to learn more about the changes you as a caregiver may experience through the stages of dementia.

The Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area Chapter, and the Prince William Area Agency on Aging are holding their 3rd annual Dementia Caregiver Conference on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Edward R. Kelly Leadership Center, 14715 Bristow Road Manassas, VA 20112.

The program will go through the different stages of being a caregiver for a loved one with Alzheimer's.

  • Living with Alzheimer's for caregivers: the early stages - understanding the diagnosis is key.
  • Living with Alzheimer's for caregivers: the middle stages - communication strategies become a must.
  • Living with Alzheimer's for caregivers: the late stages - Preserving the quality of life and compassion...for you, too.

Seating is limited, to register call 703-766-9018 or email your name to jpriest@alz.org. Refreshments and box lunch will be provided.
