AARP Virginia is proud to celebrate Black History Month with our campaign, 'A Joy Supreme', which is centered on the resilience and beauty of Black Joy. This year, we collaborated with the Richmond branch of The Association for the Study of African American Life and History to produce a video series showing how Black Joy comes in different forms and knows no bounds. To kick off the series, the Quarles family shares their personal story of Black Joy.
