VIRGINIA BEACH_ Virginia Beach will be the locale for AARP’s Cultural Heritage Celebration on Saturday October 31. This family-friendly event will include activities and performances for the kids, along with all you need to know about how AARP is making a difference in the Virginia Beach community.
Guests will come together to celebrate the community’s unique cultural history and learn about AARP in Virginia Beach. Attendees will enjoy great food, music, dancing, and other activities. The tunes of Ban Caribe Band and DJ Alegria of Radio La Selecta 1050 AM will keep the celebration going throughout the day and into the evening.
Tickets are $5.00 per person or $10 per family of four with all proceeds benefitting the Philippine Cultural Center of Virginia
AARP will share its pride in community and highlight its work on education and advocacy for Virginians age 50+. Some of the programs highlighted at the event will include Financial Freedom, Prepare to Care, and Life Reimagined.
