Someone’s identity is stolen every two seconds. Protect yourself by shredding unneeded confidential documents with the AARP Fraud Watch Network. Bring any confidential documents, up to two boxes, to the Senior Awareness Day Expo and AARP will shred them for free. The shred event is from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on April 25 at the Timberlake United Methodist Church, located at 21649 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
The Senior Awareness Day Expo will run from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and will be free and open to the public. The event will include workshop, educational booths, entertainment and food.
