Care Enough to Know

Join AARP Virginia for a free conference to learn about local resources available to help family caregivers from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 3 rd. With thousands of people sharing the huge responsibility of caring for older parents, loved ones, friends and neighbors, helping them to live independently at home, many caregivers are unaware of what support services and resources are available.

Event attendees will enjoy a boxed lunch provided with a free gift bag, resources, and free giveaways! The event will feature keynote speaker Matt Paxton of Legacy Navigator as well as other keynote speakers providing resources on:

  • In-Home Care
  • Skilled Home Health
  • Skilled Nursing Facilities
  • Memory Care & Assisted Living
  • Palliative Care
  • Hospice
  • “Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate?” A guide to passing on personal possessions.

An RSVP is required for this FREE event. Go to  or call 1-877-926-8300 to RSVP!

We hope to see you there!
