Join us on May 17 th at 10:30 am at Lynchburg College's Syndor Hall for “Have a Happier, Healthier Brain” with Dr. Len Lecci, professor of psychology at the University of North Carolina and Director of Clinical Services at MARS Memory-Health Network.

Dr. Len Lecci is on a mission to help people maintain happy, healthy brains. He believes we need to give the health of our brains as much attention as we give to the health of the rest of our body- regardless of our age.  In this program, Dr. Lecci will share the latest research and advice on practical ways to maintain brain health. He notes that it is even possible for people who already have outward signs of dementia to flourish.

At the onset and end of the program local exhibitors will be on hand to share information about their services and healthy aging.

Tickets are $10 and seating is limited. To reserve your seat, please visit www.lynchburg.edu/beard (after April 4th)  or call 434-544-8456.  A limited number of scholarships are available.

We would to extend a special thanks to our sponsors—BB&T Bank, BB&T Scott and Stringfellow, SunTrust  and The Trust Company of Virginia, Centra, Senior News, and Senior Guide for their support in providing this opportunity to area residents.
