Free Shredding at Virginia Beach. Bring your old documents!

Every two seconds someone’s identity is stolen.

Shredding confidential documents you no longer need is one good way to protect yourself, and the AARP FraudWatch Network wants to help you do that.


Bring any confidential documents to the Frank Abagnale event on July 28th at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, and we’ll shred them for free in the parking lot from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

Shredding only takes a few minutes and can save you lots of headaches later on. It’s free and open to the public. Then stick around and head over to the Convention Center Exhibit Hall and learn more fraud preventing skills. Afterwards, there will also be a Frank Abagnale presentation to wrap things up.
