Williamsburg Job Fair to Assist Older Job Seekers

Are you an experienced worker looking for a job? Do you know someone 40 plus or with a disability in the Peninsula area who is job seeking? If so, AARP Virginia invites you to attend the 10th Annual Peninsula Agency on Aging Senior Job Fair, Thursday, September 12, 2019, from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. at the Historic Triangle Messmer Community Services Center, 312 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg presented by the Peninsula Agency on Aging.

Joining us this year is The Arc of Greater Williamsburg who serves adults with disabilities. An Arc client, young adults to senior citizens, when presented with employment opportunities, often become that dedicated employee every business hopes for.

This Employment Event offers access to hundreds of job seekers from all peninsula localities and is advertised directly to job seekers over the age of 40 and individuals with a physical or developmental disability.

The event is free and open to older workers. Companies will be looking to fill full-time, part-time, and seosonal positions. No advance registration is required. Come prepared with resumes and attire suitable for an interview.

The job fair is sponsored by Peninsula Agency on Aging, Virginia Employment Commission (VEC), CareerWorks, and AARP Virginia.
