We Need to Talk - Giving Up the Car Keys - seminar leaders available to speak

Caregivers holding onto one another in an embrace

Northern Virginia traffic can be a nightmare! Keeping safe on the roads is a concern to all of us, especially those of us with aging parents. How do you know when it’s time for your loved one to limit or stop driving?

It’s a tough subject for most families, but it’s a serious matter. Now there’s help.

AARP is happy to offer We Need to Talk, a free workshop to help you determine how to assess your loved ones’ driving skills and provide tools to help you have this important conversation.

AARP Virginia is offering We Need to Talk programs at select venues in the northern Virginia area, and we are happy to come out to your group! For information on how your organization, house of worship or community center can host a We Need to Talk session, contact Amber Nightingale at anightingale@aarp.org or 571-217-7043 or submit your request online.
