Know an extraordinary volunteer age 50 or older from your city? Is there someone out there that just knocks your socks off every time you hear about the work that they are doing in their community? AARP invites you to nominate your volunteer hero for our annual award.
AARP's new annual experience, Ideas@50+ is heading to San Diego from September 4th through the 6th and we're looking for volunteers! The three day event features celebrity speakers and entertainers, workshops, concerts, and a huge exhibit floor.
AARP Washington is seeking nominations for the 2014 AARP State Andrus Award for Community Service. The association’s most prestigious volunteer tribute recognizes outstanding individuals who are sharing their experience, talents and skills to enrich the lives of others. If you know of an outstanding volunteer, we want to hear about them!
Dental, vision and medical healthcare providers are asked to volunteer their services for Seattle/King County Clinic with Remote Area Medical®: a free 4-day clinic to be held at Seattle Center on October 23 – 26, 2014.

Walt Bow en of Olympia has been selected by AARP Washington to receive our state's 2013 AARP Washington State Andrus Award for Community Service -- the Association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
NRTA : AARP’s Educator Community has awarded the 2013 With Our Youth! Dedication Award to Brenda Leider of Mountlake Terrace, WA. Brenda is recognized for her outstanding work with the Marysville School District English Language Learner Penpal Program.
