AARP West Virginia and the West Virginia MetroNews Radio Network are again partnering to recognize some of the state’s best and brightest student athletes through the AARP West Virginia Scholar Athlete of the Week program.
As part of the West Virginia Financial Exploitation Task Force, AARP fought successfully in the 2016 legislative session for three new laws that protect older West Virginians from abuse and fraud.
West Virginia has experienced historic flooding that has devastated communities across the Mountain State. It's heart breaking to see our friends, family and neighbors hurting and devastated. We are a proud state and know in difficult times, West Virginians come together as a family to help one another and show the nation what Mountaineers are made of.
