The idea behind AARP’s Veterans, Military, and Family (VMF) initiative is a simple one - find a way to connect the nation’s veterans, and the better than 5 million AARP members who have served in our nation’s armed forces with what they deserve.

With the arrival of the Delta Variant of COVID-19 has come questions about what the variation of the virus means for Wyomingites. At 3 p.m. on July 7, Pharmacist Stevi Sy will offer facts about the Delta Variant and how to fight it.

Helping our members manage their debt and savings to improve their financial health is a priority for AARP Wyoming. We offer a number of tools to help members do just that including the AARP Interview an Advisor and Money Map tools. AARP is committed to helping people achieve a brighter and more secure financial future for themselves and their families. These tools are free to anyone who would like to use them.

CHEYENNE - An AARP Wyoming TeleTown Hall with Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney previously scheduled for 5 p.m. on June 24 has been postponed so the Congresswoman can attend a memorial service with her husband, Phil Perry.

Wyoming’s lone representative in the US House of Representatives, Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) will join AARP Wyoming for a Teletown Hall to speak to and answer questions from AARP Wyoming members at 5 p.m. on June. 24.

Slowing the spread of COVID-19 through infection control will be the subject of the next in AARP and Mountain-Pacific Quality Health’s House Calls Series of Webinars, set for June 11 at 1 p.m. Mountain Time, and 9 a.m. in Hawaii.

The AARP Fraud Watch Network and Volunteers of America (VOA) created a new, free program to help you. It’s VOA | ReST, which stands for resilience, strength and time. The program is designed to address the emotional impact of your experience. We offer free facilitated peer-discussion groups that seek to provide emotional support for you and others in similar situations. Family members are invited to participate at your discretion or take part in separate sessions for family members only.
