AARP Wyoming Walking Group In Cheyenne Welcomes New Members

Strike out fraud.jpg

AARP Wyoming has started a walking group that meets twice a week at Frontier Mall in Cheyenne.

The group meets at 8 a.m. on both Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the food court inside Frontier Mall. This is an opportunity to get some exercise and meet new people. There is no cost to join and you don’t need to be an AARP member

The walks kicked off last week as Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins joined the inaugural lap group. On the first Thursday of each month a short presentation or discussion takes place, on different aspects of healthy aging such as diet, nutrition, and mental wellness, and then the walk gets underway.

AARP Wyoming is offering prizes for those who hit certain benchmarks of walking and check-ins. AARP Wyoming will track your goals through this form.
