Cheney TeleTown Hall Rescheduled for July 21

Wyoming’s lone representative in the US House of Representatives, Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) will join AARP Wyoming for a Teletown Hall to speak to and answer questions from AARP Wyoming members at 5 p.m. on July 21. 

This TeleTown Hall takes the place of the previously scheduled June 24 TeleTown Hall.

AARP Wyoming will start calling out to AARP members around 4:55  p.m. on July 21. According to her congressional website, Cheney was first elected to Congress in 2016. Cheney serves on the House Armed Services Committee and Natural Resources Committee. Prior to her election to Congress, Liz served at the State Department as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East. She also practiced law at White & Case and at the International Finance Corporation.  A specialist in national security and foreign policy, she was also a Fox News analyst, and the co-author, along with Vice President Cheney, of Exceptional: Why The World Needs a Powerful America. She is a member of the International Board of Advisors at the University of Wyoming.

Liz and her husband Phil Perry have five children and live in Wilson, Wyoming.
