Discover the Science of Happiness with AARP Wyoming
For the first time this October, AARP Wyoming is debuting a brand-new virtual event series designed exclusively for our members by Lucy Flood, a Stanford graduate and Colorado writer passionate about making well-being accessible to all.
“The Science of Happiness” is a six-session series exploring simple, science-backed habits—like mindfulness, gratitude, and connection—that can help boost your mood and bring more joy into everyday life.
Each session blends research with practical tips you can use right away, followed by an optional 30-minute “after party” breakout room for conversation and connection with fellow participants.
The Six-Part Journey
- Oct 4: What is happiness? How can we get happier?
- Oct 11: How relationships and positivity impact mood
- Oct 18: The power of gratitude
- Nov 1: Mindfulness and mood
- Nov 8: Developing resilience
- Nov 15: Prioritizing people and activities we love
Whether you join for one session or the entire series, you’ll walk away with simple ways to add more calm, meaning, and joy to your days.
