Governor Gordon To Join AARP For TeleTown Hall

On Monday, July 20, at 4:05 p.m., AARP Wyoming will host Governor Mark Gordon on a TeleTown Hall to talk about the latest impacts of COVID19 in Wyoming.

As of July 16, The State of Wyoming has 1,985 confirmed cases of the COVID19, and 22 deaths attributed to the virus. On Monday, Governor Gordon will discuss public health orders, and the latest information on the virus.

AARP will start making calls to a select number of our members at 4 p.m. Look for a call from a 1-800 number at that point. If you have questions you wish to ask the Governor during the call, send those questions to tlacock@aarp.org. If you want to listen in on the TeleTown Hall but are not called by AARP, but want to listen in, call 1-877-229-8493 and use the PIN of 16277.

Volunteers Ready To Call Those Who Want One

In this time of social distancing, it is easy to feel alone and AARP has set up a web page you can click on to receive periodic calls from volunteers around the country. The calls are a part of an online platform launched by AARP’s Innovation Labs, called Community Connections.
