How Would You Spend $50 Million In Wyoming?

When President Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law on July 4, with it came the Rural Health Transformation Program. This will bring better than $100 million per year for five years to Wyoming to be spent on a number of priorities such as hospital sustainability, innovative approaches to delivering care, and ideas for keeping healthcare in our most rural communities.

The Wyoming Department of Health is taking to the road for a series of listening sessions to get rural Wyoming’s feelings on how the money could or should be spent. We encourage you to take part and let them know what is important to you. The meeting schedule includes:

Sept. 12 

Noon - Weston County Library in Newcastle

6 p.m. - Platte Valley Bank in Wheatland

Sept. 18

Noon - Powell City Council Chambers

7 p.m. - Bomber Mountain Civic Center Small Gym
