Wyoming Department of Insurance Stands Ready To Answer Your Questions During TeleTown Hall

CHEYENNE - Ready your insurance questions for May 1 as AARP Wyoming hosts a Teletown Hall with Wyoming Insurance Commissioner Tom Glause, and Denise Burke, Senior Health Policy Analyst for the Wyoming Insurance Department.

The Teletown hall is slated for 6:30 p.m. on May 1 and will be moderated by Bob Beck of Wyoming Public Radio. Following a short introduction and remarks by Glause and Burke, representatives from the Wyoming Insurance Department will take questions from participants on the tele-town hall.

The Wyoming Department of Insurance enforces insurance laws and regulations of the State  impartially, honestly, and expeditiously; to serve the consumer of insurance; to encourage a healthy insurance marketplace; and to promote change to better serve the public interest.

Glause is the Insurance Department's commissioner, having been appointed Commissioner of the Wyoming Department of Insurance by Wyoming Governor Matt Mead on January 3, 2015. Prior to this appointment, Tom served as Vice Chairman of the Wyoming State Board of Equalization. Burke came to the Wyoming Department of Insurance in 2014 after serving as an Associate Dean of the University of Wyoming Law School. She has also acted as the former Director of the Wyoming Medicaid Fraud Unit.
