AARP Eye Center

AARP Wyoming is proud to shine the spotlight on Dan Duffey. Dan is one of Sheridan’s CAT (Community Action Team) members. He is enthusiastic, generous and dedicated in all his volunteer work.
Dan recently accepted a position on AARP Wyoming’s Community Council bringing thoughtful insight into discussions, and supporting programs and events that are so important to older adults in our community. Dan’s involvement doesn’t stop there!
Whether it’s distributing flyers to spread the word about upcoming AARP events, lending a hand at our popular Fraud Watch shred events, bringing holiday cheer at our annual Christmas Stroll or helping at the AARP Community Emergency Preparedness event, Dan is ready to pitch in with a smile. Dan’s energy, reliability and willingness to serve are truly inspiring. He and his wife, Patricia are the leads with the Sheridan AARP walking group. Rain or shine (or below zero temperatures) do not stop this dynamic duo from participating.
He loves that AARP gives people of all ages opportunities to enjoy so many things. Virtually and in person. No one has to sit around and wonder what to do. Whether you're retiring at a younger age or much later, there's something for you. AARP promotes activities for all ages and offers people of all ages and ability, quality of life.

Dan enjoys that the Sheridan CAT team is made up of members of all ages (30's - 80's) and has many activities supporting the entire community - not just support for a certain age group. There's a place for everyone. He would recommend anyone wanting to be involved with a group of fun people doing fun things in the community to join the Sheridan CAT.
We are very grateful for Dan’s contributions and the positive impact he continues to make. Thank you, Dan, for being a shining example of what it means to serve with heart and purpose.
