Are you over 50 and searching for a new job? Or are you an employer seeking experienced and responsible employees? Make sure to mark your calendar and plan to attend the 50+ Employment Expo in Tysons Corner!

AARP Virginia and the Jewish Council on Aging are pleased to present the 50+ Employment Expo to provide opportunities for employees and employers to network and learn about the opportunities available to them. There will be dozens of recruiters on site offering a wide array of employment paths - non-profit, government, healthcare, retail, technology, and others! For those seeking employment, several services will be offered at the expo, including seminars on changing careers and applying for jobs online; job training information on continuing education courses; how to effectively use the internet in your employment search; and résumé critique and assistance.

In addition to exposure for their businesses, employers who exhibit at the expo will receive a free recruiter registration and table, their business name listed in The Beacon newspaper and the expo program, and access to potential employees with résumés in hand!

Doug Hill, Vice President, Weather and Chief Meteorologist for ABC7/WJLA-TV News at 4, 5, and 6, will be the keynote speaker.

WHEN: Monday, April 18 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
WHERE: Sheraton Tysons Hotel, 8661 Leesburg Pike, Tysons, VA 22182

This expo is made possible, in part, by funding from the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation and is sponsored by the County of Fairfax, Sheraton Tysons Corner, Volunteer Fairfax, Volunteer Solutions, LTCCC, RSVP Northern Virginia, AARP, and Fairfax 50+.

The expo offers onsite registration for all job seekers as well as free parking and admission!
