AARP Georgia is hosting the 50+ Job Fair in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) on Thursday, March 20 in DeKalb County for workers 50 years old and older. The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lou Walker Senior Center, 2538 Panola Road in Lithonia.
GDOL staff will be available to provide applicants with information on resume-writing and interviewing skills. Other resources available at the fair include information on healthcare, housing, and social media.
Job fair participants must register online at http://aarp.cvent.com/jobfair prior to the event. Bring several resume copies to the fair and dress appropriately to improve opportunities for jobs.
