AARP Eye Center
March has been a busy month for the staff and volunteers of AARP Pennsylvania! As the weather started to warm up, so did our community outreach efforts. Here are a few highlights of our recent activities in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties:
The Philadelphia Flower Show
AARP Pennsylvania was a proud sponsor of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Flower Show in Philadelphia, which ran from March 5th to March 13th. Staff and more than 30 volunteers spoke to attendees about Life Reimagined, a program designed to help people reflect, evaluate priorities, and take action to live their best life. The event featured a photo booth and life techs who talked to individuals about online safety and how to live to the fullest.

Over the course of the day, staff and volunteers spoke to more than 300 Pepsi Cola employees, hearing from many caregivers about the struggles they face, and sharing resources.
