Nominate someone by May 1st.

AARP Kentucky is hosting the inaugural  Real Possibilities Faith Award to honor long-serving members of the Louisville faith community.  This is one way to give back to Kentuckians who give so much.

We encourage faith groups across the Louisville area to nominate deserving members from their community. Each organization may nominate up to three people. To be eligible, nominees must be at least 50-years-old and have served as an active member of their faith community for five or more years.

AARP Kentucky is accepting nominations from April 1st through May 1st. You can submit your nomination here. We will announce the winners at the 2017 AARP Real Possibilities Faith Award Ceremony on June 22nd.

Nominees will be judged on the impact their work has on members of their faith family, how it has supported their faith group’s mission, and how it has improved the lives of the people around them.

Each nominee will receive a certificate, thanking them for all that they do. The top three nominees from each faith group size category – small, medium, and large – will be awarded a 2017 AARP Real Possibilities Faith Award plaque. In addition, the top winner of each category will take home a $500 check for their faith community.

Faith groups can nominate up to three members here starting April 1st through May 1st. AARP Kentucky encourages all faith groups in the Louisville area to participate.
