AARP Mourns the Loss of Senator Frank Lautenberg
Statement from AARP New Jersey State President Dave Mollen

PRINCETON- AARP mourns the loss of a great New Jerseyan with the passing of Senator Frank Lautenberg. Over the course of his 89 years, from his boyhood in Paterson, to his time spent defending our country in WWII, to his 30+ years of distinguished service representing residents of the Garden State in the U.S. Senate, Senator Lautenberg consistently displayed a passion for that which he believed, and the courage to fight for those that he believed in. There is no easy way to replace that which we have lost with the passing of Senator Lautenberg.

Our thoughts are with his friends and family.

Jeff Abramo, Communications Director
