AARP offers members exclusive discount to Diana exhibit

Experience the remarkable life and work of Diana, Princess of Wales, with an exclusive offer for AARP members to see Diana, A Celebration*, an award-winning exhibition that opens on Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14, at the Cincinnati Museum Center.

AARP Members receive a discounted admission of $19 through July 31, 2014. It’s a value of up to $5 per person and valid for up to 4 adult admissions. Members must show their membership cards at the box office window to receive this discount.

Direct from the Althorp Estate in England, the ancestral home of the Spencer family, comes more than 150 personal objects, including her royal wedding gown, 28 designer dresses and gowns, family heirlooms, personal mementos and rare home movies.

The exhibition showcases the life and work of one of the most remarkable women of her time – certainly one of the most photographed – with over one billion television viewers who watched the 1981 Royal Wedding. Her charm, beauty and easy grace touched people worldwide during her short and complex life.

This will be the final showing for the renowned exhibition, which has been touring the world since 2003, before the items return to her sons in England to be preserved for future generations.
