Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Central South Carolina invites you to its annual Whispers Butterfly Release set for September 9, 2014 at the South Carolina State House grounds (Gervais St. side) beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event promotes awareness of the whispering symptoms of ovarian cancer through the release of hundreds of butterflies in recognition of September’s National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.The evening will also include inspirational speakers and live music.
Butterflies are available for purchase prior to the event for $25 each in memory or honor of loved ones with ovarian and other female-related cancers. Those interested should submit a sponsor form no later than September 2. You can also support the cause by purchasing a “Treasures of Life” 14”x11” print for $30 by artist Lucius Jumper.
