FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Great turnout for our 89th General Assembly Volunteer Advocates meeting! State President Sherry Walker discussed AARP Arkansas' commitment to advocate on behalf of, and give a voice to, Arkansans 50 plus.
Regional volunteer briefings will be scheduled in every region of Arkansas throughout 2013 to give volunteers a chance to meet with each other and staff from the state office. The first briefings of the year are tentatively scheduled for Fayetteville and Conway; watch this site ( www.aarp.org/ar ) for upcoming details.
