58 AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Sites in Los Angeles

TaxAideCOLOR

Need help preparing your income tax returns? You can get that help at no charge at 58 locations in Los Angeles County through AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance service.

Tax-Aide is designed to serve low- and moderate-income taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 and older. But no one is turned away because of age or income. Even young families can get assistance with their tax returns before the April 15 filing deadline.

Last year, Tax-Aide volunteers helped more than 18,000 people in the Los Angeles area prepare their tax returns.

Many sites offer income tax preparation services in Spanish and other languages to serve the diverse population of Los Angeles.
The volunteer tax preparers are qualified to help with most individuals’ and couples’ income tax returns. They take classes and must pass IRS certification and ethics tests. All returns are double-checked to ensure accuracy.

Volunteers don’t prepare tax returns for income on rental property, large businesses or other complex finances.
