The Silicon Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s is set for Oct. 14 in San Jose. The event aims to raise nearly $1.5 million to support the work of the Alzheimer’s Association and research to find a cure. The walk starts at 9 a.m. at the Arena Green in San Jose, then winds for three miles through downtown.
AARP California is cosponsoring the event and will host a table at the companion fair, providing information for family caregivers.
