Somos Courageous
Based in Sacramento Maria Harrington is the founder and CEO of Casa de Español, an organization that offers Spanish classes to people of all ages. Maria founded the school after seeing a need for cultural and community connections in the Sacramento region.

With over 40 years of technology and public policy experience, Ron Gonzales is the President and CEO of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. Ron has devoted his career to improving the quality of life for San Jose residents, from awarding scholarships and proving resources through the Foundation to championing regional transportation projects during his tenure as Mayor of San Jose.
Somos El Futuro:
Maria Salinas is the President and CEO of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, she became the first woman and Latina to lead the Chamber in its 132-year history. Maria is helping the Chamber advance its three areas of focus: advocacy, global engagement and economic growth.

San Diego native, Dr. Alberto López Pulido is the founding chair of the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of San Diego and a member of the Chicano Park Steering Committee. He has dedicated his career to telling the stories of community members whose voices have been excluded from history.
