AARP Colorado event cancellation notice due to Coronavirus
We’re writing with an important message to let you know that we have canceled our external events until further notice. While convening events is a core part of our mission, we have changed our approach in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

AARP can see and feel the trends. People 50 and older are more active, both physically and mentally, than ever before. They aren’t slowing down. In fact, they are preparing themselves to do more of the things they love. So many older adults are exercising and eating right daily; they are taking the time to learn new things, and they know the importance of life balance, making sure that leisure and fun are significant parts of their healthy lifestyle.
Certified yoga instructor Teri Mullen leads this online yoga class each week. You’ll be guided in the gentle postures of Hatha yoga, which are typically held longer and practiced more slowly than poses in other types of yoga. No experience is necessary - yoga starts where you are!
Certified fitness instructor Shauni Hawkins leads us in virtual low-impact cardio and strength-training classes. Let’s get your heart rate up with low-impact aerobic exercises, and add strength and balance training for a fun and sweaty full body workout! We’ll finish with an energizing stretch so you’re ready to tackle the rest of your day.
