Several new AARP-backed laws passed during Connecticut’s 2025 legislative session. The laws are aimed at lowering prescription drug prices; curbing utility costs; making it easier for people to cancel subscriptions; and eliminating excess fees by requiring companies to disclose the total price of all goods and services.

AARP Connecticut is offering AARP members and their guests an opportunity see two Bridgeport Sound Tigers games at a significantly discounted rate of $16 per Center Ice ticket (regular price of $36). In addition, the first 200 guests at each game to visit the AARP table in the concourse will receive a voucher for a free popcorn.
