AARP Connecticut, on behalf of nearly 614,000 Connecticut members age 50+, is concerned about the impact of the Malloy Administration budget proposal on vulnerable seniors.

AARP Connecticut provided members of the Connecticut Transportation Committee with testimony in support for the concept outlined in Proposed H.B. 5390, an act concerning the right-of-way at a crosswalk, on Monday, Jan. 30, 2017.

In 2015, Connecticut became one of 18 states to support family caregivers with the CARE Act. The law, which passed with bi-partisan support during the 2015 legislative session, supports the 500,000 family caregivers in Connecticut as their loved ones go into the hospital and as they transition home.
