Eclectic Lineup of Musicals at the Palace

Looking for entertainment at a bargain price? A show at the Palace Theatre may be just the ticket.

AARP members and their guests get $10 off adult seats for select shows between now and June 2019—and the lineup has something for everyone.

This month join King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table for Spamalot, the hilarious musical based on the 1975 cult film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Thanksgiving weekend features The Nutcracker, followed by another holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. The rock ’n’ roll musical Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, showcasing 1950s hits like “Peggy Sue” and “That’ll Be the Day,” closes out the season in June.

Other discounted shows include the The Secret Garden (Jan. 11-Feb. 3), Cabaret (Feb. 22-March 17) and A Chorus Line (April 19-May 12).

n a recent survey, Granite State members said they value fun, affordable local entertainment, and the restored 103-year-old Palace Theatre is always a favorite, said AARP New Hampshire spokeswoman Jamie Bulen.
