Register early to make sure you reserve a seat for a night out with AARP Movies for Grownups. You are invited to an April 26 free screening of Hacksaw Ridge, starring Andrew Garfield in Casper.
Its the true story of Pfc. Desmond T. Doss (Andrew Garfield), who won the Congressional Medal of Honor despite refusing to bear arms during WWII on religious grounds. Doss was drafted and ostracized by fellow soldiers for his pacifist stance but went on to earn respect and adoration for his bravery, sel flessness and compassion after he risked his life -- without firing a shot -- to save 75 men in the Battle of Okinawa.
Meet AARP Wyoming staff, volunteers and other members during the event and be sure to stop by the AARP table at the theater to learn more about what AARP is doing in your community to help everyone 50+ to live life to the fullest.
