Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield



Invite your friends and meet fellow AARP members for a free tour of the historic Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield where you will hear incredible stories about world’s largest free-standing steel cellblock.

The Ohio State Reformatory opened in 1896 and housed over 156,000 men before the prison doors closed on December 31, 1990. Today the site receives visitors from all over the world and has been the setting for major motion pictures and network television specials.

Join us on Thursday, August 20, at 1 p.m. for a free tour of the Ohio State Reformatory at 100 Reformatory Road, Mansfield, Ohio 44905. AARP volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions and update you on the Real Possibilities we offer in your community.
