Welcome to the Online Family Caregiving Fair!



Are you one of the 2.8 million Floridians caring for a parent or loved one? If you said “yes” then you’ll want to participate in AARP’s Virtual Family Caregiving Fair on Nov. 19.

Participants can drop in online from noon to 4 pm ET. The fair provides family caregivers the opportunity to connect and share with other family caregivers, connect with professionals, learn more about health, financial and legal matters and ask questions during our live chats!

The fair is divided into five areas:
The Plaza: where you can access the multiple locations
The Exhibit Hall: where you interact with participating organizations and programs
  • Featured exhibitors include our very own AARP TEK, Home Fit, Driver Safety, and Financial Resilience programs, as well as key partnering organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

The Resource Library: where you can see all of the tools, tips, and handouts available throughout the fair
The Mix & Mingle Lounge: where you can participate in open and scheduled chats, and share your thoughts and tips in the message posts

  • Key live chat speakers include AARP Caregiving expert Amy Goyer and Dr. Barry Jacobs, who serves on the AARP Caregiving Advisory Panel.

And the Auditorium: which has scheduled presentations and on-demand videos and webinars on various caregiving topics

  • Scheduled video sessions feature big names like Chef Martin Yan, Jean Chatzky, and Chris Gardner.
