Frustrated by 1040 Forms? There's Free Help for Arkansas Taxpayers

danielmoyle_2013IncomeTax

Arkansas taxpayers can get free help with preparing and filing their income tax forms at AARP Foundation Tax-Aide sites.

Tax-Aide is open to anyone, including non-AARP members, but the program gives priority to low- and moderate-income people age 60 and older.

Last year, IRS-certified volunteers at 32 sites across the state helped more than 29,000 Arkansans identify deductions and recoup more than $17 million in refunds.

Most Tax-Aide locations are open through April 15. For a list of locations and hours, go to AARP Tax-Aide Locator or call 888-227-7669 toll-free.
