AARP Georgia is partnering with MicroLife Institute ( a 2018 Community Challenge Grant winner!) to help introduce you to the world of micro living and see the big impact a tiny house can have, especially if you're a caregiver, 50+ and thinking about retirement and downsizing, or you're a household with varied generations.

Learn how your community or nonprofit organization can apply for an AARP Community Challenge “quick-action” grant to fund a project related to housing, transportation, smart cities or public spaces.

Please take the opportunity to meet AARP Georgia staff and volunteers while you take in the Gwinnett Gladiators vs. Greenville Swamp Rabbits match, and learn more about what we’re doing in your area! AARP Georgia is continually seeking new ways to connect with the 50-plus in the community.

Voters age 50 and older were the deciding factor in last year’s midterm elections, according to the National Election Pool Exit Poll results. The findings confirmed that 50-plus voters made up the majority of voters, 51 percent here in Georgia. Candidates who ignored these voters, Georgia’s most powerful voting group, paid a price on Election Day.
