Healthy Alaskans 2020 wants your review!

Healthy Alaskans 2020 (HA2020) is the statewide framework that brings together partners across the state to improve the health of all Alaskans.

Relying on a broad group of content experts and stakeholders, HA2020 has identified 25 leading health indicators, set targets to reach by 2020, and prioritized evidence-based Alaska strategies to meet those targets.

HA2020 is now set to publish the specific activities currently underway that support the prioritized Alaska strategies. Strategies and Actions is a compilation of the health improvement strategies, activities and partners engaged in this work.   We are now seeking broad public review of Strategies and Actions, which you can find at http://hss.state.ak.us/ha2020/assets/StrategiesActionsKeyPartners-publicreview.pdf . The final document will be published on the web in April 2015.

Comments received through this process will be shared with future Healthy Alaskans 2020 workgroups that convene around Alaska’s 25 Leading Health Indicators, and may be incorporated into this or future revisions of Healthy Alaskans 2020 Strategies and Actions.
